dLFaxMail is a Windows service that runs alongside the Microsoft Fax service and is designed to relay faxes received by the Fax service to one or more e-mail addresses as attachments to e-mail messages.
To use dLFaxMail you need the following:
Windows XP or Vista
Microsoft .NET Framework v 1.1 or later (if not already installed this may be obtained from Windows Update)
A compatible fax modem
The Microsoft Fax service installed and operational â?? i.e. able to receive faxes (if not already installed the fax service is provided on the Windows XP CD)
An always-on connection to the relevant network (internet or Company network)
EITHER a valid e-mail account through which you can send e-mails from your PC
OR the Windows SMTP service installed (if not already installed the SMTP service is provided on the Windows XP CD)
